Hereon, we variously refer to ObamaCare as "OC," "O-care," or the "Affordable Care Act (ACA)." Some sites refer to it as the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act" (PPACA).
Hereon, we track the ObamaCare (OC) debacle through social media (SM) and other Internet resources.
The most popular Twitter hashtags for ObamaCare are probably these: #ObamaCare, #FullRepeal (of OC), and #ACA (Affordable Care Act). This chart demonstrates that the Obama administration and its Democratic allies are having little success in re-labeling the program as the "ACA," or "Affordable Care Act." House (of Representatives) Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has been particularly adamant that the news media call it "the ACA," but, at least on Twitter, few users are paying her any mind.
It will be interesting to see whether the hashtag #FullRepeal (or the similar #AbortObamaCare) becomes more popular in the future, especially as millions of more insurance policies are cancelled and the hapless policy holders are forced to use a health insurance exchange (HIX) in order to buy insurance.
So, readers, does anyone know of other, popular hashtags that are used in the OC debate?
