    Topsy is a slick tool for those who are interested in searching and analyzing Twitter traffic.  For example, Topsy allows you to search the tweets of the most influential Twitter users, and none others; it allows you to exclude from your search all users other than the most influential.  Slick, huh?  How can you do that?  Well, on Topsy's home page, select the option that is labeled "Influencers" (as shown in the image above). On the next page (see the image below), select whether you want, say, the 100 most influential or the "top 20,000" most influential Twitter users. ...

    In late 2013, after millions of happily insured individuals had their insurance policies cancelled (by ObamaCare), these angry, aggrieved people were tweeting noisily about the injustice foisted upon them.  But after mid-December, the Tweets that contained the term "cancelled policy" declined sharply, and that traffic still has not recovered -- yet.  Will such traffic ever recover?  Well, perhaps, when millions of more policies are cancelled over the next 14 months. On the other hand, consider what happened in November, 2013, in the midst of those cancellations. At that time, almost nobody was using Google to search for the term...

  Obamacare (OC) on Twitter -- What are the most popular hashtags for OC?   The most popular Twitter hashtags for ObamaCare are probably these: #ObamaCare, #FullRepeal (of OC), and #ACA (Affordable Care Act).  This chart demonstrates that the Obama administration and its Democratic allies are having little success in re-labeling the program as the "ACA," or "Affordable Care Act."  House (of Representatives) Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has been particularly adamant that the news media call it "the ACA," but, at least on Twitter, few users are paying her any mind. It will be interesting to see whether the hashtag #FullRepeal...
